Letter to My Younger Self:

Don’t be afraid to say what you want to say. Don’t be afraid to do what you want to do or express what you want to express. You have the same rights as every other person on the planet to do as you please.

Explore every single dream you have. Go after them. There will be terrors in your head that will try to stop you, but please be aware that they are no more than shadows with no real power over you unless you give that power to them.

Get excited! Live your life as an adventure! You love those moments when you’re following your heart and have no idea what’s going to happen next. There’s this perfect mix between fear and excitement inside of you that guides you. You can have those moments every day. Just follow your heart and ignore your fears. Your heart always tries to lift you up like a balloon, but your fears try to pull you down, like burdens hanging from your feet. As you ignore your fears, you will feel lighter. As you feel lighter, you will feel more excited. To those who live in fear, it will seem as though they have buried their excitement six feet under because fear overrides excitement. Dig hard and rescue that excitement so it can breathe again!

And love. Love every person who crosses your path, everything you see, smell, hear, or touch. Treat everything as though they are a part of who you are because they are part of who you are. You know that too. You’ve experienced that feeling when you feel so connected to someone or something that you lose track of time, space, and identity. And, funnily enough, that’s when you really feel alive: when you lose your identity.
